| When you arrive at the
practice you will be greeted by one of the Team and asked to fill
out a health questionnaire if you have not already done so.
You will then be asked to go up to
the appropriate surgery where you will be greeted by your dentist
and another team member.
The cost of your initial
consultation will be £75 and lasts approximately 30 - 45 minutes. This
includes
- Full medical and previous dental
history taken.
- Consultation, finding out if you
have any problems or if there is anything you would like done
with your teeth.
- A full dental examination.
- All radiographs that are needed
for diagnosis.
- Full discussion on treatment
needed and all options for this.
- Discussion of any treatment that
could be carried out but is not deemed essential by the
dentist i.e. Cosmetic Treatment.
- At the end of your appointment
you will be given a treatment plan, which includes a full
estimate of all treatments discussed.
At the end of your appointment you
will be asked to take your records down to reception where any necessary
appointments will be made and paperwork completed.
It is not usual for any treatment
to be carried out at this first appointment. If however there is
some urgent matter that needs attention this may be done, time
permitting but is not included in the price of your consultation.
